My job and this site
I’m a barista at Black Rifle Coffee Company. This site isn’t theirs. They don’t review it, approve it, or pay for it, and nothing here is their position on anything.
If I write about coffee, gear, or a café that’s connected to them, I say so in the article. I don’t recommend something because of who sells it.
Recipes and technique
Every drink build here is something I’ve actually made. When I’m making a claim about how coffee behaves rather than what I happen to like, I’ll say which it is and link a source if there is one.
AI
I write the posts and I make the drinks. Those parts are mine.
I do use AI as an editor. It catches typos, tells me when a sentence has gone sideways, and sometimes talks me out of a paragraph that wasn’t working. What it doesn’t do is decide what goes in a recipe, invent a shift that never happened, or write a review of a café I haven’t been to.
If that ever changes, this page changes with it.
